One of my most freeing experiences

My-diary.org has been one of the most freeing experiences that I've had, I would say. I have a private diary and a public diary.

My private diary was started in 2011 when I was stuck in a house full of people. These people were my family and they were also very inquisitive. If they saw you writing in a journal, they make it their mission to find it and read it. I needed a safe place to write and that's when I found my-diary.org. At the time I wasn't worried about public dairies, I just wanted a place to write because writing has always been my release.

This year I was going through a difficult time in my life and I logged back onto my diary. That's when I decided to read some public diaries and I followed someone and sent them a message. We got alone perfectly and we understood each other. I decided to start writing publicly, maybe someone out there would understand what I am going through and I wouldn't feel so alone anymore.

I started my public diary and I've met some amazing people on here. Some have helped me through very difficult times in my life. Even though we're miles apart, there is a community right here who loves each other (mostly lol). I have had moments where I've sat with someone online just to help them get through something. I had a friend sit with me through my anxiety and talked me through how to deal with it. If you want some drama, there is some of that too, but its so much more than that.

I can honestly say that my-diary.org has changed my life. I have made amazing friends and I have even found love on this site. Feel free to pour out your heart and soul without any judgment. We are all people who are trying to be understood and you would be surprised at how many people understand you.

If you don't want to start a diary, that's alright. There are many public ones to read. Read other people's thoughts and get an insight into their lives.
