DAILY FEATURES
DINNER: Pot roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, peas
and French bread with cherry pie/vanilla ice cream for
dessert
WHAT'S IN JOHN'S LUNCHBOX: Tuna sandwich with onion,
pickles and chopped green peppers; chicken sandwich, chili
with chopped green onions and a bag of Fritos; chocolate
chip cookies; blueberry cobbler; slice of cherry pie;
apple, orange and banana; coffee, mixed berry juice and
orange juice.
QUILTING: Sewed binding on pink four patch scrap quilt I
quilted last year; the top was made by John's Great-Aunt
Clara in the 1930's
WHAT I'M GRATEFUL FOR: The bright clear blue sky this
afternoon; having plenty of wood for the fireplace and
enjoying its warmth; cuddling with John under mounds of
handmade quilts and falling asleep holding hands.
READING: Need to pick out a new book!
WEATHER: Cold at night (mid 20's), clear and sunny in the
afternoon with highs in the mid 40s.
