DAILY FEATURES

DINNER: Barbequed chicken, coleslaw, rice with vegetables,
corn and garlic bread

WHAT'S IN JOHN'S LUNCHBOX: Homemade split pea soup to
microwave; meatloaf sandwich; chocolate chip cookies; slice
of peach pie; apple, tangerine and banana; coffee and orange
juice.

QUILTING: None

WHAT I'M GRATEFUL FOR: Hearing a frog croaking last night,
reminding me again that spring is not far off. Seeing one
bright star through a break in the clouds. A great blue
heron near the road. Feeling the sun's warmth on my face.
Two sweet-faced black and white working border collies,
enjoying the wind in their faces in the back of a sheep
farmer's pick-up
