old bones

i feel like an old woman. i wish i'd gone to the thing
tonight. sometimes i feel like i've lived a certain day at
least ten times already. sometimes i hate girls.
sometimes i wish i hadn't switched schools. sometimes i
wish i was shorter and could play the guitar. sometimes i
want to leave for the day and go jump in a lake. sometimes
i wonder why certain people expect me to make everything be
okay. sometimes i wonder why other people don't.
sometimes i feel like an old hag who should be hidden.
sometimes i feel like a beauty queen that nobody will ever
get to see. sometimes i wish i had it all to do over
again, starting years ago. sometimes i want to stay up
forever so i don't miss a moment.
