Smile and You'll Feel Better

Studies have actually shown that the simple act of smiling
can make you feel better. My day has proven that.

I did a very good job of keeping my resolution. I smiled
genuinely; I talked positively; I threw no pity parties; I
said the right things... I think convinced myself that I
was happy.

And actually, I am in a much better mood now. Smiling and
acting happy made me feel happier. Telling other people
that I'm perfectly ok started to make me feel more ok.

So I think this *ultimate* resolution (see previous entry)
has a good chance of working.

People are going to like this me much more. I won't be
such a downer to everyone. No one wants to be with someone
who's always sad and whiny and feeling sorry for

Did I mention that I'm drinking as I write this? Some
people get depressed when they're drunk. I don't
understand how. I'm only buzzing a little bit, and I'm on
cloud nine. I love it!

I'm so glad I made this resolution. It's gonna have some
definite advantages!
