Do you remember when
It was one-thirty on
A rainy night and you
Said, "What should we do?"

I said, "I want to take
Champagne, climb on the roof
and toast in the rain."

When you asked me why I
Said that, I shrugged and said
"It's something to do."

But I was testing you.
I was afraid to ask
If you would follow.

That is why I trusted
You when you poured champagne
And kissed my wet skin.
