I want to tell you about my Christmas, or really, my
December. On the 20th, the NorthStar came out, and my story
was front page news. I have no idea whether anyone read or
liked it, but I felt like Queen of the crowd. On the 21st,
here's something cool: I was walking down the hallway with
Lizzy and Claire when I saw Shawn, this guy in my history
class, walking next to, you guessed it, Dan Lavins (BABY!)
Well, of COURSE I look at him, and I expect him to look
back at me to check who's scoping him out. Instead of a
casual glance, he stares straight into my eyes, like
through me. If your eyes really are the windows to your
soul, I'm kinda excited to know just what he saw. But man,
was it a heavy stare! I'm optimistic.
Today, Christmas, we went over to Cousin Tanya and
Kevin's for a Porcelli X-mas. I got everything cool. Mom
got me a black slip dress with feathers, a purple fairy T-
shirt from Hot Topic, a new calendar for 2002( Teen Witch!)
a Hogwarts Bookmark, and a Center Stage Soundtrack( I
admit, I peeked yesterday on my CD!) But now I have 65 more
bucks to spend at the mall and we're going to go see Lord
of The Rings tomorrow.
Well tonight, at Tanya's, I had, I'm sure, what a REAL
family X-mas should be. After dinner, most of us sat on the
big comfy couch and played "telephone" for half an hour. We
played Hedgehog with Abby ( Kev and Tanya's new dog) Then
we played Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board with Sean
and Jackie as floaters. Oiy. Then Uncle Dennis and I teamed
up against everybody else in Millionaire. We would have won
it, only we answered some stupid question about a glabella
or whatever wrong. It was the eyebrows. Crap. But it was
totally and wonderfully cool and fun. Much more fun than I
ever had hanging with the Holzum's for X-mas. I can't wait
for next Semester and the Summer!!!! --Me--
