craving

i held the knife to my wrists, pressed against previous
scars before i quickly, hurriedly, shoved it into the
drawer. too scary to think of blood. to many bad
memories. logic tells me parentals would see. doesn't
stop the wanting. never does. dr lila, the shrink, told
me its a phase. to me, its a lifelong curse. the knife
sits and i hear it laugh. always.
