Weird Entry...

It's hard to exactly tell what's truth, and what is not. I
would like to believe, but we all know the evil that lurks
within ours and others hearts.

Where am I going with this? I don't know.

How can I flip between being socially conscious to being my
own personal advocate of my soul? I don't really know,
either.

Exactly what is my point?

I'm fearing that the time I set aside to explore myself
might just be at the end of its journey. (So it's back to
the old dude who likes to run around with his head cut off,
taking cues and misguidances from others...?)

...my ass is being kicked all over the place with what's
going on around me, and my own complicated and convoluted
feelings, arrogance, pride, how I like to reduce everything
into its most basic functions. I am learning at a way too
rapid rate, and I shouldn't be taking it in by the shovel
load, as it is being given. The truth is out there,
willing to be found, but what is the RIGHT way? I believe
that there is only ONE way there, and yet I still haven't
found it. If I can merely erase my physical presence, and
BECOME... Erase my arrogance and pride?

Arrogance: showing an offensive sense of superiority...
Yeah, that's me....but not all the time...
Pride: Being proud--showing or having excessive self-
esteem...
LOL, I thought this was good...

I would also like to add, I listen to Ray of Light because
I am TIRED of the SHIT that's out there.

Thank you.

Madonna - Drowned world / Substitute For Love - Ray Of Light
I traded fame for love
Without a second thought
It all became a silly game
Some things cannot be bought
Got exactly what I asked for
Wanted it so badly
Running, rushing back for more
I suffered fools
So gladly
And now I find
I've changed my mind
The face of you
My substitute for love
My substitute for love
Should I wait for you
My substitute for love
My substitute for love
I traveled round the world
Looking for a home
I found myself in crowded rooms
Feeling so alone
Had so many lovers
Who settled for the thrill
Of basking in my spotlight
I never felt
So happy
The face of you
My substitute for love
My substitute for love
Should I wait for you
My substitute for love
My substitute for love
mmm
ooo
No famous places, far off places
Trinkets I can buy
No handsome stranger, heady danger
Drug that I can try
No ferris wheel, no heart to steel
No laughter in the dark
No one night stand, no far off land
No fire that I can spark
mmm
The face of you
My substitute for love
My substitute for love
Should I wait for you
My substitute for love
My substitute for love
