Anyone know any cures for rope..

Anyone know any cures for rope burn? I've been pulling
curtains open and closed for the past few days for a show
in the local area, and my hands are suffering. gloves don't
seem to help, and pulling 300 lbs of metal up and down for
6 hours a day is painful. not to mention my hnd are red,
blistered and sore.

Gues I'll just live with the pain.
