letting go

LETTING GO
When my heart is burdened,
And I'm full of doubt.
Fear distorts my vision,
I can see no way out.

When I have lost direction,
It is then I understand.
That it is time to let go,
And let God take command.

He is my Father, My shepherd,
and my friend.
He gives me the strength
To begin again.

I can be everything
He intended of me.
Happy and healed,
trusting and free.

His presence surrounds me,
His love light unfolds.
His power protects me,
From all I behold.

I will trust, without fear,
In Him whom I praise.
To safely guide me,
Through life's darkest days.
