The ultimate futility of human existence...

I've just found out that one of my best friends is losing
his hearing. We've had all the "WHAT" jokes etc, cos at the
time it seems like such a laugh. I've had to live with my
father being of partial hearing since I was a kid so I can
kind of empathise...

I can't believe there's nothing that can be done for him!!
I feel so bad for him and so utterly...crap!

God, we're so fucking shit....I'm going home now, this has
totally defeated me...
