I thought I'd lost you forever
I thought the sun just wouldn't shine
The valley was too low
The hill was too hard to climb

I thought you'd never speak to me
I though our friendship was through
I tried everyway to tell you
But you wouldn't listen...It was all I could do

I went to an alter after a week
I prayed and prayed
Went to school the next day
and you was like "Oh Hey!"

I couldn't believe what I had heard
You said you weren't mad
I felt such joy
No more was I sad

We're friends again
I thank God so much
He answered my prayers
He gave me back your touch
