Countries In Africa

She thought I was an idiot and challenged me to name all of the countries in Africa I could think of off the top of my head. Just to show her who she was dealing with, I told her that I could not only name them but that I could count them on one hand. I also told her that I knew it was a trick question, and that there was only one true country in Africa, and that was Africa itself. The rest was just a series of states, much like the states here in the US, only bigger and with less electricity. In less than an hour, I had a list ready that I was sure would change her mind about how little I really knew about the land that gave us bongo drums and chocolate bars - Africa, Malaysia, Marimba, Casablanca and Ebola, I said. For the second time that day, she called me an idiot and pointed out that only three on my list were even places at all. Who's the idiot now, I thought.
