So today it was getting things ready for 18 yr old's friend to visit.

I swept the front, cleaned the kitchen, etc. Wifey, 14 yr old and I went to that roller skating class but it was canned (I should've called first). Well, there's always next week!

Guy's Night at a friend's house. We played spades; it was rough for me being a newbie (I watched some YouTube videos) but nothing prepares you for the real thing.

And the real thing includes shit talking and good-natured ribbing lol. 🤨🫢🤔 I bought 🍸🍷🍸, another dude brought boxes of 🍕. 5 of us, and it was a hard pill to swallow but sometimes the best learning comes from being thrown into the lake, or fire, (lake of fire?). I was "ok-halfway-decent" by the end, lol. We may go see Shazam 2 in the morning.

Got home, kids up abd Wifey. I almost got into it with her over something but stopped myself (the drinking, not wasted but drinking ribbing) but caught myself. 🤐 I had some fruit and a homemade brownie.

About to hit the sack; hope you all take it easy...!

PS 18 yr old's friend came by while I was gone, Wifey dropped them off at a hotel, so...yeah? Yeah.
