Haven’t heard…..

I left my best friend’s house mid-afternoon, as she and her husband wanted to watch the football, American, game. I heard from her briefly last night, and I sent her a message on accident this morning, nothing bad, just a link that was meant for another friend about dog allergies, and she has not responded to me, nor contacted me at all.

I don’t know what to think. She said she wanted me to come back on the 24th and stay with her when her husband goes to get his mother, but I have a feeling that will not be happening now. Well, I will always remember the time we shared. That’s for sure.

I thought she could, as my best friend only, accept my work. Maybe she cannot. If she cannot, we must, by nature of my work, go our separate ways. It will hurt, but it’s nothing new.

And of course, I could be making something of nothing…. Her lack of contact may have nothing to do with me at all.
