The lonely codependent

One of the hardest lessons codependents usually have to learn is that no matter how hard you try, you can't change other people.

In the case of my family this is always a problem. They have habits that drive me up the wall and they often pretend to depend on me, which does not make my situation easier.

This morning I received some good news from work so my day was very promising. However, in the next moment we started arguing about the same usual things. That's why I ended up having wine for breakfast so it was a bit funny when I tried to do some shopping while I was a little tipsy.

Some things will never change. But I wish they would sooo f*cking much...
