Screened_in_porch here

Well, I am in the hospital, can not remember my password, so I logged in with Facebook instead.
So, Friday he sent me to get a scan to determine why my stomach was swollen. As soon as I returned home, he call to tell me to get to the ER asap. So we headed there…no waiting with they met us at the door. I did not have a hernia after all but instead had a abscess that needed to be addressed. First they inserted on of those horrible drains like before, not as bad as last time. Then they put me to sleep to drain the abscess and insert a different drain there. I woke up in my room with my husband and daughter waiting on me. It was brutal…been here since.

My surgeon was not here this weekend but his team was… impressive to say the least.

So no colonoscopy today…no prep either, but my surgeon come in here saying we are scheduled to have the surgery tomorrow to remove part of my colon. Is was thinking he would want to wait until I heal from this other mess. My blood pressure went up just talking to him about it. He said he had to be in OR and after that he would look at the notes from this weekend and come back to talk more about it.

I became very nervous to go through a major surgery after this weekend. I went two days without food or water. Just if drips one right after another…they got my platelets up to 75, from 40. I am very nervous about this but everyone is saying to go ahead and do it just get it over with.

So that is my first couple of days since my last post…..

Exciting weekend….that ballon floasted just south of this hospital and people were taking photos. I am surprised that Sara Palin did not shoot it down in Alaska…..she could have done it…..saving us from being spied on…..not sure what to think.

But it looks like surgery will be tomorrow…..and hoping to get back home by the end of the week…if I make it.

Scared out of my mind
If this goes south….I really want to thanks all of you for your kind words and kindness during times I needed it

The world needs more of that so keep it going…
