A Good Weekend

I don't know what's going on with my son 'D' and his partner 'K'. I spoke to him again yesterday, he is now trying to tell me that everything is good between them both. It's alittle bit different to the conversation l read between him and sister. l've told him l won't get involved. All l can do is reassure him and let him know my door is always open to him should he ever need it.

Had a fairly good weekend. Manchild came around Saturday afternoon for my guitar lesson's! I hadn't picked the bloody thing up since he last left me with it. To be honest, i'm really not that intrested. I'm never going to be able to play as good as he does, although he does show alot of patience with me. Plus l get to hear him play. This week l did enjoy his company alot. But.. not enough for him to stay over.

I know the 3rd deathversary of his late wife is looming 26/1/23. Neither of us have mentioned about it. He might deal with it slightly differently being he is nolonger drinking. I just hope he can stay of the drink so his family doesn't have a repeat performance of the past 2 years.

Typical.. l just noticed my tap in my kitchen needs it's washer changing. Simple enough job.. right! Last time l tired to sort that beast out l got into all sorts of trouble and had to call a plumber. At this moment l have isolated it. I will deal with it Thursday or Friday. Manchild can't do it, has his DIY means destroy it yourself! I'm hoping he has a box spanner that l can use to brace the tap. Unlike last time, the whole thing was moving and leaking from underneath the sink. Which off course l never had a spanner to fix it. I must admit my basic skills at plumbing have all failed. Needless to mention my attempt of putting a tap outdoor's. I did all the plumbing with snap together plastic bits and pipes. Simple's till l got to the tap itself and realised the fitting's was too small. That was a massive inconvience as l had to isolate the water for my sink and washing machine until a end stop arrived so l could cap it off. That is a project l must return too😕🙄🤣

Toby, my fur baby is so subdued. I bet he wonders where that woman has gone. Breaks my heart.

Anyway, l must think about getting ready for work tonight.
