Many years ago I was changing my baby and after, took a good long look at him. Such a beautiful child. I knew that one day he would get older and be on his own. How cold the world can be ... was that my sweet baby in those pictures? He did not deserve that. I trained myself not to cry when I was living in that nursing home. I haven't cried in a very long time, until now.
