Strange Phone Call

I recieved a strange phone call today. The caller claimed they were my utility company and that my utilities were going to be turned off. They wanted to know my address. I started to explain that my electric bill was paid by an agency, the agency that handles my money and they hung up. I tried calling the agency to see if my bill was paid and it is. The most recent payment going out today. I then called the electric company and it was fine. They aren't turning my utilities off. It wasn't the electric company that called me. I'm making sure my door is always locked.
