Peaceful in prayer

I have been sincerely putting effort into my prayers lately. Instead of just praying with the attitude of a spoiled child who wants a sweet that their parent won’t give them, I’ve been really asking for my petitions with a humble heart. And it’s making a difference. Not only do I feel peace after praying, I find I wish to spend more time in prayerful contemplation. I wonder what this next week will bring.

I have a doctor’s appointment on Tuesday and that’s the only thing I have on the schedule, except for work, of course. I have been listening to podcasts, doing some light house chores and sending a couple Facebook messages to friends. That is the extent of my Sunday.
