People that matter to me.

And another beautiful morning to wake up to, my little girl in school for the next 4 hours seems just enough time to get things done, yet I'm drinking my coffee and thinking about so many things...
I finished the book from our book club, this time I'm starting a new read called "the four agreements" I'm loving every bit of this book, I believe that books like people come in to our lives in the moment we need them to be in our lives, and even though I've had this book for quite some time reading it just now makes perfect sense and it has given me the tools I needed to keep on moving forward with my life, some people go, others come and the chapter they get to live in your life and as part of it makes life that much more wonderful. Yes, I get called the eternal cheerleader, but is only because in my life I've needed the cheering myself often always and have never got it. So, I give what I believe is what others need. Funny thing is a lot of people hate that about me, but it's just me keep it or leave it. Even last night I enjoyed so much listening to everyone's points of view on this book and made me wonder how they will react to my side of the story, all of us grew up in the same community, and the love we all have for this community is what keeps us together what makes us, no one special like my cousin said is just history repeating itself. But I have to say that every single one of us is irreplaceable and that everyone of us in our own crazy little minds have something unique to share. And I love listening to their stories. But I also know that not everyone is an open book like me. I can take critconstructive criticismizizim very well but never get criticized and often wondered why not? Melissa is such a beautiful soul she always has an approach that makes everyone feel safe listening to what she has to say and gets us reflecting upon what she shares, Adriana is a wise soul even if she's one of the youngest she has a lot of experience with her own family on any topic and her political responses always blow me away, Bill always pushes to find his answers and can care less if his questions are as awkward as they get and I love that about him, Ritchie is a great mediator and wise with political issues and religious topics as well, Ronnie is very honest with his sharing and very humble as well he is a kind sweet man. Lulu also very outgoing and has a way with words that I identify myself with when she speaks is almost as if she experienced the same events in a way that I refused to experience and I can see myself in her shoes so often I admire and love her for all that she is. Andy her husband has a very different approach on things that I enjoy listening to him because he has the family upbringing that I did so I can also understand a lot of what he shares and has a very matured way of looking at things that we don't get to see often in people.
So, this group of men and women that I grew up with and I have been able to reconnect with are some of my favorite people and am so blessed to have them in my life right now, I hope that this group chat keeps going for a while longer and that we get to know that side of ourselves that we rarely share with others.
