I am numb

There is so much I need to do today, and I am numb. I need a miracle. For what, is unimportant, but if any of you reading this believe in prayer, please pray that this works out the way it should. I could desperately use some divine help here.

My friend Carrie is telling to always pray this prayer or that prayer and I finally explained to her that I didn’t know the prayer she was referring to. She pointed me to a website, and I read the words along, no really felt the words as I was reading them. Does that count? I just wonder. Well, I’m off to say a novena to St. Jude, patron saint of desperate cases, for if ever I was in a desperate situation, it is now.
