Workplace Drama

I apologize for not posting for a while. I haven't been feeling like posting, I still kind of don't, but I will now because some stuff happened at work.

I work at the front desk of a tech company, we never get any guests. But today, a lady I've never seen before barges in, opened the door so aggressive and just kept walking all the way to the corner of our office which is where the CEO sits.
I said Hi to her, she said it back, but she never stopped walking!
Then, she comes walking to the front by me and leaves.... walks pass our HR person who was coming back from the restroom.
I asked her who she was and she had no idea either.

I assumed it was either a new/old employee or his wife. She also looks really good for her age, me thinking she was his wife was last lol.
My boss is a middle aged man, or I guess older, because middle aged means like 40 years old now.
Anyway, she walks back in and asked if our CEO was here. I asked her if she was his wife and she said yes. oh gosh.

Without me giving a specific timeline because I don't honestly remember which came first/last, she was showing one of our employees that's been here for a year and know's the wife from xmas parties and so on, a picture of a woman none of us recognizes.
It looked more liike a security footage.

OH I missed a big part, our boss (CEO) wasn't there. He left RIGHT before his wife got there. The HR lady mentioned to me that she was in a meeting with him and he received a phone call from one of his partners (business partner) and this guy told our boss to pack his stuff and leave "now". When my boss left, pretty much lunch time, I didn't think it was weird because he actually told me yesterday, he's leaving around that time to go catch a flight.

I guess the wife called his business partner, prior to my boss getting a call from him, about this "lady" and that she was coming to the office.
So now the HR lady is disappointed at the fact that our boss knew his wife was on her way and left US to deal with that.
His wife was clearly distraught, angry, pissed. She told me to call him, which I did because I kind of love drama Around me, plus I needed to talk to him about a meeting we were supposed to be in 40 minutes after that. He of course didn't answer, but he did show up at the zoom meeting 8 min late. Plus, if the dude is okay with drama like this happening in HIS company, I'm not going to be that mad about it, especially if it's not about me!

HR told me to lock the front door and everyone can leave and work from home for the rest of the day. COOL.

But the 3rd employee that seemed thrown off about it, she's the one that's know his wife for a bit, seen her drunk at the xmas party...
She was saying how she's never seen his wife like that b4. So it must be really bad!

My speculation, is he's guilty... Why's he running away from her if he wasn't? Also, are you dumb letting that happen at your workplace?
She kept calling him, asked me to call him (which I did like I said because I also still needed to reach him myself)... Him ignoring her calls?! Like, wow.... and why does SHE act like that??? He already wasn't there and she was trying to fish for answers as much as she could. But, that was just very disruptive and embarrassing! This woman also owns her own business.

I can't wait to know more... I'm a nosey b****
