You know, I used to be normal. Someone with social energy and words to say and jokes to share that people might’ve actually wanted to hear.

I want to go to sleep but they’re not leaving.
I will do something dumb when I go home.

Looking down.
The view of a city of people.
Cars a blur as they zoom by.
People walking along sidewalks.
All individual and unique lives that you don’t know about.
You would’ve been one of those people if you weren’t so terrible at all of this.

I wish I were free to fly. I wish I were a bird. A tree. A flower. Something infinitely beautiful, even while wilting and dying from the inside out.
