So I decided to change my diary’s name. I thought it seemed appropriate since my life is really action packed. My goal now is to put readers to sleep… or make people feel better about their lives because my life is so *exciting* 🥸🤥 lol. You’ll need your buttered popcorn while reading my entries.

Pffftt, tomorrow’s Monday again. To quote Garfield, “I hate Mondays!” Gotta go and do my work for THAT client, ugh! I’m so dreading it! I would much rather do that spreadsheet template my boss got giddy about. I need to google lrchsqr so I can back up my choice of output. I’m really in a funk when it comes to work. I think my brain is already in holiday mode.

This weekend’s shopping galore makes me want to sing the only song title I know from Shakira. My faffing hips ain’t lying! What a choice for going shopping, during the holiday rush amidst the Omicron outbreak. I’m just crossing my fingers and toes that I don’t catch it. But because of my excessive weight and unfit physique, the physical toll of standing in queue and walking around burdened my lower back and hips. I’m walking like a stereotypical grandma, bent over (not the ass up face down kind of bent over, that’s the fun grandma— and I ain’t fun you whipper schnappersh! *shakes fist*).

Was watching some travel shows these days, Travel Man and Biyahe ni Drew. Drew is a Filipino celebrity, I think, and he’s been showcasing gorgeous places in the Philippines. He goes to lots of beaches and eat Filipino foods I’ve never heard of before. He shines best when he’s one with nature and he didn’t seem to enjoy one of his South Korea episodes. Anyway, I enjoyed the South Korean episode because of the variety of things to do, and the accessibility of the activities. The nature/beach trips, I find them too physical for me and I feel I’m no longer fit (and would be ridiculed for wearing swimsuit.May cause panic at the beach.) Besides, my taste changes. I do enjoy Richard Aoyade’s trips in travel man as they stick more to touring the city, occasional day trips and experiencing the (bizzare) culture. I think if I were to travel in the near future, I’d like to just do a city-based trip— exploring the city by foot and public transport. Try to see the touristy places, and maybe be a bit adventurous and try something weird. I’m sure there’s something weird in every city, so far my fave is the cat circus in Moscow. I do like to inject some day trips from time to time. I still love to do a food tour as well. Ah, to dream is free, to travel is expensive. Hehe 🙃
