My Black Friday
Friday, November 26, 2021
It's 54 degrees at this hour.
I slept very well last night and I feel rested.
I have no appointments or errands to run today. I'm all caught up with my chores. My Black Friday is free. I won't be doing any shopping as so many do on this day.
I had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my daughter's yesterday. It was so nice to have the family together again, and the food was delicious.
My granddaughter has made great progress since her car accident, which wasn't her fault. The physical therapist now has her jumping, and she doesn't need a wheelchair, walker, or crutches at home or at school. And she did get behind the wheel to drive around her immediate neighborhood a couple of weeks ago. I am so proud, because she's put in the work to bring her to this recovery.
I talked to my daughter about the move they are planning. They haven't found the right place yet and it could be a while longer before they do. They seem to be taking this casually. They've been looking in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, and upstate New York. There was no talk about a move while I was there, except my brief talk to my daughter about it. I told her that I felt like I needed to downsize and she said that I should keep my stuff. I wonder when the day will come that a move is imminent. For now, I can continue to live my life here and hope the day doesn't come when I'll have to move.
Myt daughter has invited me to join them tomorrow as they decorate their home for Christmas. This is a tradition we've had for many years. It will be my last chance to see my oldest grandson before he heads back to college in Illinois. Hell be coming back home for Christmas break.
I plan to read this morning's newspaper, then I may watch the recording of the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Late this afternoon, I plan to watch more episodes of "The Black List".
That's all I have for now. Peace and much happiness to all!
