You Got This ❤️

She knew that perfection is an illusion, beauty is fleeting, and flawless isn’t truly possible.
She had to learn the hardest lessons along the path of a broken road.
She stumbled and fell, she listened and learned, she broke ... but she evolved.
She let go of the ideals that she had to be a size zero with perfect makeup and always have it together.
Truth was, she was none of those things and never would be.
The moment she recognized her journey, a real sojourn into what really matters, she became free.
Free to accept herself and her flaws, but more than that -
She learned to love her scars, appreciate her imperfections and relish her sometimes disastrous ways.
She had the days that up was down and right was left - nothing would go right - and before, that would leave her in tears.
Now, she was different.
She was real.
She was proud.
She laughed through the tragedy and smiled through the tears.
She celebrated her triumphs and learned from her mistakes.
She embraced those places within herself that she had once hidden away, desperate to savor any semblance of a perfect facade ...
Until she realized she was trying to be what she wasn’t and never would be.
She lived with courage, loved with passion, and breathed life into an undying spirit.
Every crack and crevice revealed a little truth about her, her life, and her journey to find herself, love herself, be at peace with herself.
You see, she finally understood the thing about broken people is this:
They’ve lived and loved, lost and lamented, but they still love through the pain without regret.
They’ve seen the darkness enough to appreciate the light and their love is the deepest and most beautiful of all.
They’re all the things the world would tell you not to be:
Compassionate.
Empathetic.
Caring.
Real.
It was in those moments she would just smile and remember who she was and how she had clawed her way out of rock bottom.
Yes, she was beautifully broken, but more than that, she was real, she was strong and she just kept going.
At the beginning of each and every day, she’d look in the mirror and say one thing.
“You got this.”
Because every day ... she did just that-she found a way to get it all done.
She wasn’t just a spark, a fire, or a newfound flame.
She was a phoenix and this was her time to rise.
This time, nothing would extinguish her light.
This time..she was unstoppable.
