The We in I
Have you ever considered what is you? Who are you? Why are you the person that you are? When I consider questions such as this, I simply look at the language that I speak. How did I know the language that I speak? The simple answer is the language that I heard. It was the language that was around me all the time. The person that I am is due to the environment I have been surrounded in. The environment, people, places, and things in which I immerse myself in are or become me. For example, if I surround myself with tweakers, I take on the characteristics of a tweaker. However, if I surround myself with Olympic sprinters, I take on the characteristics of an Olympic sprinter. How do I know? I know because of the language that I speak. Listen to the words you speak. Whom do they sound like, and you will know the person that you are? I am a reflection of, more accurately, my environment. When your actions are thought to be yours, they are instead the product of your environment. The way you think, feel, act, and behave is a learned behavior. Do not ever let anyone shame you! There is never an I per say. Think how do I speak the language that I do. Essentially all there is in I is we.
