God even when I'm sad I make song references -_-. So yeah, if you couldn't tell, my mom has been... upsetting me lately, to say the least. Do you know what a child shouldn't have to do? A child shouldn't have to sit in their room trying not to cry while listening to their own mother talk shit about them on the phone to their family. A child shouldn't have to debate whether or not to show their mom their essay because they might cry just from hearing her opinion. A child shouldn't have to feel unheard because their mom doesn't care if something makes them uncomfortable. I could be wrong, maybe these are normal, I wouldn't know since these clearly all come from personal experience, but I've heard that mothers are supposed to love you unconditionally and accept you for who you are. And I'm pretty sure they're supposed to respect your boundaries and I don't know... GIVE A SHIT if they make you cry! Obviously, she's not gonna be perfect but neither am I! Like seriously, if you want me to "feel like I can talk to you whenever" then don't disagree with everything I stand by! And even if you do, just don't start an argument about it. Yes, I'm usually the one to raise my voice first but that's not what an argument is. Let's just both take a chill pill and NOT ARGUE FOR ONE FUCKING SECOND.
