Doctor=Facts Only

On the phone with the doctor and writing as he’s speaking.....

Ok, slight conclusion to the lab works....with everything in my urine......it’s going to be more testing to grab an accurate result.
But...first thing first.....

The Glucose (sugar) in my urine is a sign of diabetes.....need to change my diet slightly, and will have an emergency insulin only to use if my level gets to 220 or higher. ....so will be putting me on Hydrochlorothiazide, it will help my body to expel extra fluids....because I have too much fluid, leading to swelling in your arms and legs and ankles, which I complain about a ton, it’s painful.

Secondly......

The Blood is a sign of an infection, or a kidney problem, or certain medicines, It does not mean i have a serious medical problem......but will require antibiotics and further testing. The testing is ultrasound and computerized tomography .... which I have no clue about. They will start me on ciprofloxacin because the last two antibiotics must not have worked.

Thirdly.......

White blood cells (pus cells) is a sign of infection....so kidney infection more than likely, but will treat me for a UTI. This is the third one in 2 months. They will have me to a home test kit where they Measuring how much I urinate in 24 hours . Just peachy.

Fourthly.....

The protein in my urine suggests that my kidney's filtering units are damaged by kidney disease......so will be doing some tests to see how serious, and the last result would be a biopsy on my kidneys. They will be adding Kionex to my medications.

Fifthly......

Bilirubin is a waste product from the breakdown of old red blood cells.  It is normally removed from the blood by the liver.  Its presence in the urine may be a sign of liver disease......which would be possible because of medications and my alcoholism. They will schedule a time to do a test and biopsy on this as well. Same day as the kidneys. And the biopsy is a simple procedure inserts a needle through my skin and into my kidney to remove the sample. Oddly, another reason this is higher in my system is sexual hormones, (had to admit I have a healthy sex drive)and chemotherapy (which was off and on for 7 years total)......which I had no clue on. So it’s not a complete surprise. Suggested was Phenobarbital, but I’m refusing it. Sorry, but I know way too much about this medication because my daughter was on it for her epilepsy and I will never take this medication.

My recurring infections could be from one, or all of these....
Postmenopausal women are at risk of UTIs because of Estrogen Deficiencies.....and I’m on hormone pills due to my hysterectomy. Also, because I was diagnosed with slight early on dementia. (That was almost a year ago onsetfrom medications I’m on) so all this is pretty normal considering the life I’ve lived and issues I’ve had, however, not common this early, normally hits women 60 and older....but with all the health issues I’ve had, I’m higher risk for it earlier than normal.

So, nothing extremely serious at the moment. More testing will happen and new medications and will have to go monthly for a urine test so they can keep with with it. Last option is dialysis. But doubt it will come to that.

On the other half, made my appointment for tomorrow for my hair, she doesn’t work again till next week, so going to split it between 2 credit cards. 68$ for the bleach, 26$ for the toner, 18$ for the trim (yes, growing it out which I’m going to hate) then 15$ for my sons haircut.

Talked with grasshopper this morning. Will leave it at that.

Have therapy today at 3 or 330, I never can remember and it’s a weekly thing. Go figure.

Going to be irritated as all fuck. I don’t have smokes, so dropping cold turkey, scary because I will want to “paint” to release the withdrawals. Something I have to do. Going to be a living hell.

Anyway....
Journaled facts only. Emotion out. Just facts.

Till next factual update....
