This Is It - 2021
Why does cleaning a room have so many parts to it? Every time I set my mind on cleaning my room up I expect it'll be just a quick matter of putting my clothes away and throwing away trash. But it never is. I don't know how all of that stuff ends up all over the place. And every time I start simply tidying my room, my mind decides it's time to reorganize and redo areas entirely. Which is just more work for myself.
If you couldn't tell, I started in on cleaning my room today. I say started because I got a couple hours of work in but I'm too tired to continue for the day, so my room is now in that weird "part-way through cleaning when all the stuff's been taken down and so the room looks even messier before everything's put back" stage. Guess I'll get back on that tomorrow (among everything else I have to do).
My cat has finally forgiven me for my awful crime of leaving for a couple days without him. I woke up to him curled up next to me mostly under my covers with his head on my pillow. He was sleeping like a little human! I once again wish I could use photos here to show how adorable he is. Instead, you'll just have to imagine - A brown tabby with green eyes (one is 3/4 green and 1/4 brown). He thinks he is a human, he is potentially a person cursed to be in a cat body but has accepted his life as a cat aside from some mannerisms. He sleeps in a human bed like a human, he picks food up with his hands. He screams if you leave him alone for more than 20 minutes. He is my life.
At least my bed wasn't hit by the cleaning mess
