Evening Heat.

Wow it is hot! An arid heat. I'm not complaining. I suspect that a drought is going to follow like it usually does when this heat returns daily at this stage of Summer.

I need to go and vacuum the carpet in the Seniors' Lounge. That means walking up there carrying my vacuum cleaner and hose.
I made a dry litter mess on the carpet cleaning up after Christmas and taking the decorations down and putting them away. After this is done tonight, I need to cook a healthy dinner and eat it...not stare at it on the dinner plate.

Quick shower then back into my biggest task : sorting my belongings out. I'm doing my best to de~clutter and discard as I sort, tidy organise my stuff. This is not the first or even the second time round with this task. Once it's done, I look forward to feeling peaceful and very different.

Oh, the heat...

My feather duvet looks and feels amazing. It even feels lighter now that I've laundered it. Summer heat is a great blessing for large items of laundry. Plus the sun really refreshes the fabric. The feathers have all dried beautifully. That's the hard part about washing feather blankets.
Very grateful for a job that went well. Better than I expected.

Still got a ways to go before bedtime...18:32 Auckland, N.Z. time.

Until tomorrow...šŸ–ā¤
