The light at the end of the tunnel is showing!!!

Pretty uneventful weekend and since I'm working from home, no fun lunches to write about. Got my car back from the auto body today. Seems o parked in someones spot at lunchie's last week and they left me a nasty note that I took their spot. What I didn't see right off was the person keyed my car. So $500 later, it's all good. Lunchie offered to pay, but I said it was my fault, even though I didn't see a sign or anything.

So, I'm still a little nervous about Thanksgiving dinner with my parents. M is a permanent quarrantiner and I ave set myself away since last week, so we should be cool. I did get my STI testing done and also sat in a carline for an hour on Friday for a Covid test. Negative of course.

So it should be interesting, seeing my parents interact with M. I only tell them we are platonic and I know my mother is a believer but papa, not so much. It will be interesting to see the testosterone fly between M and Papa. Separate bedrooms for sure, if mom has anything to say about it. Now that will be humorous as to how they will communicate this to M. Papa will certainly want to test his theories. Maybe I'll just break it to him in advance and avoid any temptation on my part to ruin our progress.

And hopefully this year's holiday won't end up like last year's.

M has been encouraging me about Lunch. He proved me to get the testing done as a show of an early commitment. I thought that was nice, but I sense he is more upset than he shows. Believe me, there were times this past few weeks the that if he made a move on me, I'd have caved for sure. Some men just own me. He wasn't the first and won't be the last. But I feel like I'm in a good place right now. I'm thinking of Thanksgiving dinner with my loved ones (M is still loved) and on Saturday, I'll see Lunchie. And if he got his testing done like he said, well, maybe I'll show him somethings we can really chat about on our lunch hours!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends here and just a happy bunch of days to my non-American friends here.

Special XOXO,
Mariel
