Joseph Campbell posits, "The dark night of the soul comes just before revelation." Friedrich Nietzsche expresses, "Being human is a complicated gig. So give that ol' dark night of the soul a hug. Howl the eternal yes!" This is my response to both of their observations.
The body's natural instinct is to fight.
The mind's logical genius is to question.
The heart's intuitive nature is to feel.
The soul's infinite purpose is to connect.
We give what we are given.
We receive what we take in.
But when all is said and done,
We choose our own way to let go.
