18. update

A couple days ago my uncle who is also my boss began to have a fever and so the next day he got tested for covid and found out right away that he was positive. (Theres a test here in california that if you pay 125 dollars in 15 minutes you will find out if you are positive or negative. Well sadly he found out he was positive, so the next day his fever was not going away so he ended up going to the hospital so he could be in isolation.

This means since he is my boss and i work at his care home facility that i had to get tested. Good enough my results came out negative.
Its scaring to think that one virus can cause this much scare and worry in the world. I really do hope they find a vaccine already so that we all can go back to our normal lives. But for me even with this quarintine my life is the same. quarintine life is my normal life is what im trying to say.
Everyone else's life before quarintine was fun, i mean all my friends would always say how they are having a good time and how they always go out. for me i feel like my life is so closed and it suffocates me because i chose to follow my tradition and my culture. i chose to respect my elders and respect the old ways. I saw this one tick tok that someone said in order to get respect you give respect. but in older cultures im older than you so you respect your elders. im not saying that either of those things are bad. i mean they are both good and both make sense. but i guess i just chose to do both, i chose to respect my elders in roer to get that respect. ill give my respect because i know that once its given, i get that same respect back. i mean at least thats how my family is. i know some families would say i give respect but still its not enough to gain the elders respect so i guess it really depends on how you were raised and who you grew up with and how the family dynamic is.
