Las Tortugas y Yo
Soft melted chocolate
I love to know that some people are happy being who they are, I grew up graduating with the same group of friends from kinder garden and I still keep in touch with some of them, thanks to social media I guess is a lot faster keeping in touch with all of them. I remember a time where having a pen pal was the most exciting thing to have, you would publish your adres in a teens magazine and have them randomly send you letters, I had a few pen pals and to this day I still enjoy sending random letters to people I know or may not know, there is something comforting about getting to know some one new, the best way I can describe it is like eating Ferrer chocolate the different layers first the crispy layers, then you hit a hard shell to find a soft melted chocolate covered hazelnut, that's how it is when you get to meet some one new, you see what they are made of on the out side and slowly come to open up and you get very surprise to find out what is in the inside of what makes them such beautiful or ugly human beings, but another interesting part of getting to know some one new is that you find your self genuinely interested in them trying to figure out why they behave the way they do, every grumpy or happy emotion on people hides a very interesting story behind it but most don't care enough to find out about it, and I do. I like to get to know people on this very personal level, and I like people to want to know me enough to want to dig. When you find an old friend and they tell you something like, there is that smile I had been missing to see, can make you feel good and if you hear a friends personality be out loud is something you can laugh out loud with them about the good times shared. Have you ever thought about this before, are you willing to let your self known by others by layers or have you ever?
