Mother Zoom

So I'm thinking this weekend was crazy as all get out, in a matter of speaking. From catching the 24-hour (flu? Virus?) to having crazy but interesting dreams it was like wow. Some of those dreams felt like a weekly series or 3 hours long when in reality it was more like 15-30 minutes...???

We did another Zoom with the family again; the highlight for me was listening to Mom read a poetry piece about Mother's Day, and all I could think of is flashbacks to the 70's when my brother and I were young, listening to Mom read to us for Family night...then play "Star Wars" with the toys and the extra Boba Fetts we had from the extra mail-in thingies back then...damn! My kids giggled when I told the group this but yeah...I get my love for my good times in when I can. Tomorrow's never promised especially concerning older parents, or just living in general.

I called in work to say I'd be 5 minutes late, no problem. Did online classes on this work computer but it crashed before I could print, no problem because it's mostly power point, just gotta sit through it again, but not tonight. This entry gate I'm at they just installed those huge electronic auto gates with the card readers; my fellow co-worker thinks our days are numbered and they might be, but after the 2 year probation period for government workers they can't fire you unless you really fuck up. Union and all. They'll offer you another similar or like-minded job and if you turn it down, then bye bye! But, I think things will be ok for awhile. Plus, I've been here almost 3.

Mother's Day: kids make breakfast (I cleaned up...love a clean-ish kitchen!), and homemade cards all around for Wifey, small gifts from the girls, and Papa John pizzas for dinner. And Diary Queen for dessert. Couldn't ask or anything more.

Well, I had JO around naptime; but all good because it was under 15 minutes and no porn was used! I just blew off steam, literally!

Until next time.
