A Synopsis of my Life

Today I have at last received my Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language. I invited Tatiana Vershinina, my scientific advisor to have an improvised photo session. She was glad to hear from me and agreed. We have briefly discussed my current scientific work; she even agreed to provide me some professional help, as she had done nine years ago.
On the one hand, I was glad to have received this Diploma; on the other hand, I was not that happy. The level of teaching sucks, to be honest. However, I find this reasoning useless. What is the use of just shooting the breeze, saying something like “the level of higher education is low”, etc.? I am sure that each of us is first of all responsible for himself/herself. Personal development is something each one is supposed to put first among other life priorities.
