paradoxical belief systems are sad
haven't been able to stop thinking about this idea of our personal belief systems colliding and competing within our (pureed by capitalism) brains and being perhaps a major source (more than trauma??) of *our* collective and individual depression(s) after reading some dude waxing on about it on quora dot com. (i.e. "selfishness" is perhaps one of the more frowned upon behavioural traits however is a requirement for survival in procuring food and resources, etc.) paradoxes like these playfully sprinkled about, distorting our perception of reality and construction of meaning in confusing and ultimately depressing ways. idk, it makes sense to me as a contributing factor to some degree.
but also buckets of trauma.
