Occupied

[Actually written Monday, 16 December 2019, 20:19]

Had a busy day at work today. It’s a public holiday, but we went to work anyway to get 1,5 days off later in the week. Wednesday is our last day.
Was kept so busy there actually weren’t even any events or interesting exchanges with Bianca. [Turns out we do actually work at work]

On that note, I do kind of wonder if I was just a bit high on hormones last week, with how much wrote about Bianca.
Or maybe it was just because it was the first stretch of this journal, so I just kind of information-dumped all my feelings and thoughts about her at the start.
Or maybe I genuinely was just too busy today for relationship drama and that’s the only reason.
[Or more likely, I just have a boring life and my interactions with Bianca are genuinely just the most noteworthy things about my day-to-day life]

There was actually one interesting scenario with Bianca. [This only came to mind after I spent 15 minutes just thinking through my day]
Right at the end of the day, when Bianca left and said bye, I was busy with Yams with some of my work and didn’t say bye back to Bianca.
I felt bad about this and so when I got in my car I sent her a funny picture and made a comment about how it was to make up for not saying bye.
Bianca might think it’s silly to do such a thing, but my chats with her easily make up more than half of my normal social interactions.
And that matters to me. [In case this somehow hasn't been clear from all my previous entries]

I was also thinking about the fines meeting on Wednesday. [Don't think I've explained this before, so let me give you a quick rundown. Wednesday would be our last day at work for the year. PS organised a "fines meeting", being an informal meeting between all us audit clerks where we give eachother "fines", being funny complaints to tease eachother such as "Yams gets a fine for falling asleep on his desk that one time" or "Bauhaus gets a fine for always being at work 2 hours early" etc. For each fine you have to take a shot, or consume something else unpleasant if you were non-alcoholic. You think up the fines you want to give other people beforehand and email the list of them to PS. PS then read the fines out at the meeting, to keep it mostly anonymous as to who was giving who which fines]
PS said a few people gave me a fine for "not doing the right thing" [A running joke that PS started a month or two ago. By "doing the right thing", PS means I should ask Bianca out on a date or something].
I was thinking about how that will play out at the meeting.
Will people just joke around as I take my shot and leave it at that? This is the most probable and boring outcome.
Will someone ask me (non-rhetorically) why I haven’t done it? If they do, I plan on saying that there’s only one person who’s opinion about doing the right thing I care about, and the person asking me the question is (probably) not them. (It’s obviously Bianca). This may not be a response to get out of the situation the easiest, but it has the most potential for interesting consequences.

Also yes, I did just speak about how I’m writing less about Bianca, then immediately went on to write two decent paragraphs about Bianca.
Yes, that is silly.
Yes, that shows I might have a problem.
No, I don’t care. [Obviously I do, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered pointing it out]
