I am feeling that my energy level slightly went up after short daily workouts. Or I could not endure working the whole day today on the presentation with my boss. Yes, my boss is much older than me but she is more powerful and energetic. She is truly could be described as a passionate person. So, she is the boss, not me. I am really angry with myself, because I am so ignorant and have not much idea about the project. I could really spend more time studying the stuff.
Ok, I did not pay attention to what is happening outside this afternoon. Just when I going back home in the dark, I feel the wind blows in from the desert area, and a huge, completely dry shrub blocked my way down a hill…
Ha! The day finished when one of my friends asked me for a small favor, and I refused.
“Santa Ana winds are dry and warm winds from the Great Basin, an area that incorporates large parts of the states of Nevada and Utah. They start in the Basin's inland deserts, east and north of Southern California, and flow downward, taking a turn toward the Pacific Ocean.” From the net
"hot dry winds that come down through the mountain passes and curl your hair and make your nerves jump and your skin itch. On nights like that, every booze party ends in a fight. Meek little wives feel the edge of the carving knife and study their husbands' necks. Anything can happen." ‘Red Wind’, by Raymond Chandler
