Halloween, Our Favorite II

[Written yesterday]

Saw an old couple holding hands on the bus and it DESTROYED me. I hid my face and cried hard, though not loudly, for a couple of minutes. I kept looking back to them and they were still holding hands. That could have been me and my Monkey Man. ☹☹☹

-----

I remember a little more of last Halloween now -- he played Prince Greatest Hits, I think. He loved "Darling Nikki." ::Eyeroll:: Lol.

I remember now something not from Halloween, but still music-related... He would play Tears For Fears quite a bit... The album with "The Hurting" and "Pale Shelter" on it. Turns out, it was a different album than the one he wanted, but he said he wanted their first album and that actually was! I got it for him for either his birthday or Christmas.

Back to Halloween!: He played Glory by Britney Spears! Not the entire album, but most of it! I was like, "Why are you playing this?" He said, "Why not? It's Halloween." Lol! He said it wasn't bad and I said, "Yeah, it's more R&B than her other stuff." He liked "Do You Wanna Come Over?" the best. Cool! I also remember him, years back, enjoying "Soda Pop" quite a bit because he loved reggae and that has a reggaeish-feel to it. And oddly enough, "Soda Pop" was the first song I ever heard by Britney Spears. I think it was on the Sabrina The Teenage Witch Soundtrack, which I now want to look up because I remember it having good songs on it. But, anyways, yes, "Do You Wanna Come Over" is one of the best songs on Glory! My personal favorite off the album (and it's my favorite album of hers', by the way, Blackout being second) is "Hard To Forget Ya." It certainly is.

Happy Halloween, My Love!!!

Wuv you, Monkey Man! πŸ˜™
