Guessing Astrology Signs!: Gilligan's Island Characters

I think it's fun to try to guess people's astrological signs, even for fictional characters. I did this for "Gilligan's Island" and here is that!:

Character: Gilligan
Sun Sign: Cancer
Moon Sign: Cancer
Rising Sign: Cancer

Character: Skipper
Sun Sign: Cancer
Moon Sign: Gemini
Rising Sign: Taurus

Character: Mr. Howell
Sun Sign: Pisces
Moon Sign: Taurus
Rising Sign: Leo

Character: Mrs. Howell
Sun Sign: Libra
Moon Sign: Libra
Rising Sign: Sagittarius

Character: Ginger
Sun Sign: Pisces
Moon Sign: Libra
Rising Sign: Taurus

Character: Professor
Sun Sign: Sagittarius
Moon Sign: Sagittarius
Rising Sign: Gemini

Character: Mary-Anne
Sun Sign: Aries
Moon Sign: Libra
Rising Sign: Libra

Wow. I gave all the women Libra-moons. Well, they all seem feminine, flirtatious and concerned with everything being harmonious and beautiful. I said Mrs. Howell was a Libra Sun because she doesn't seem super into herself like a Leo, but she does seem into beautiful, material things. I said Ginger was a Pisces because being a famous movie star and all-consumed with that life, always dreaming in her mind of more and disconnected from reality, that's very much Pisces. I said Mary-Anne was an Aries because she's very cheerful and sunny all the time.

Bob Denver, the actor who played Gilligan, is indeed Cancer-rising, so I had an unfair advantage there. I just made Gilligan triple-cancer because I've met a couple of Cancer people who were very, very goofy. Lol.

It was revealed on an episode of "Gilligan's Island" that the Skipper's birthday is at the beginning of May, making him a Taurus. I, however made him Cancer because he's very goofy like Gilligan. Lol. I made his rising sign Taurus because he's on the chubby side (lol) and has a round-ish face. I made his moon sign Gemini because he has a hyper, nervous energy to him.

Mr. Howell I made a Pisces because I'd already made Leo his rising sign. Leo seems the most obvious sign to make him and it's still quite prominent as his rising sign. I made his rising sign Leo because it seemed like what he most looked like. I made Pisces his sun sign because he's actually emotional, sensitive and can be a crybaby at times. I made his moon sign Taurus because the downside of Taurus is being greedy and materialistic, which Mr. Howell is a lot of the time.

I made Mrs. Howell's rising sign Sagittarius because I guess that's the sign she most closely resembles. Lol. I made her a double Libra because I really can't see her as any other sign.

I made The Professor's rising sign Gemini because his facial features are kind of close together. Yeah, he looks like a Gemini. I made his sun sign Sagittarius because a professor is probably a good profession for that sign. I made his moon sign Sagittarius because I always think of the moon sign as like, the secondary personality and I really can't see him as anything else.

I made Mary-Anne's rising sign Libra because Dawn Wells, the actress that plays her is actually a Libra. Also, I really think she looks like a Libra. Lol. I made her moon sign Libra because I didn't want to make that her sun sign, but I see a Libra influence in her personality.

I'll now try to find the actors and actresses actual rising signs...

Jim Backus, the actor who plays Mr. Howell, his rising sign is Pisces, which is funny because I don't really know what that one looks like. His sun sign is also Pisces, just as I thought Mr. Howell should be! He has the moon-in-Scorpio, opposite of Taurus, but a way to be differentiated from Mr. Howell! Lol.
