The sun strokes
feeding cat
with
first rays
Sleek silverbacked
giants
leap upstream
and the river howls
the
cat meows
Bloodsoaked stoat
sun-warmed hare
The dawn
of
Day
the stag roars
the river sighs
a doe harem
meekly follow
massive antlers
downstream
splash and flash
lightning claw
cat's fangs
sink in
purr.
