Whirlwind

Today was a whirlwind of a day, from the minute I woke up (which was of course late) until now, just getting home from work.

My phone was going off non-stop today. Constant notifications, tweets, facebook messages. Arsene Wenger was leaving Arsenal. For anybody who is a football fan, this is HUGE news. I don't want to get into a big massive speech about him but he was a legend at the club. He transformed us. People had been calling for his head for a long time because of poor results, lack of spending money on new players and just not competing with our rival clubs. I'm devastated to see him leave. I've been a fan of Arsenal for a long time and he's all I've ever known. He's been there since 1996. It won't be the same without him. He's one of my heroes.

Then Avicii died! I wasn't a huge fan but I did enjoy some of his music. 28 years old, only one year older than me. Such a shame. It's no age. I read he had a lot of mental health problems and actually retired from performing live in 2015. No cause of death has been announced yet but I've got a grim feeling that it may have been suicide. I hope he's resting easy. R.I.P

Work was pretty hectic tonight. Set for another busy night tonight too. They actually moved people around on different departments and moved somebody to mine that I actually get on with really well! For the first time ever, somebody's on my department who I can actually have a conversation with. About multiple things. I don't really like talking for the sake of it. I'm not into small-talk at all. If we're talking, lets do it. We're all in. Work went pretty quickly but it was knackering. I'm so glad to be home now. Gonna have some food and hopefully get a good nights (days) sleep.
