Monday In The New Zealand Sauna House.

It's another beautiful and cruel sauna-like Summer's day down under in Aotearoa. The heat and moisture is akin to walking in an invisible treacle.
Withou any kind of air cooling system, it's pretty hard to take this weather. I'm handling it a lot better than the tropic like Summer of 2015-2016, which is big prpgress. That was a hard one living in a tiny 3-bedroom flat with no cooling system.
This time round I can tolerate the sweat and heat without it having a mental health nightmare effect on my psyche.

I was ordained to my church calling yesterday - Sunday. It was beautiful. It was also an intense anxiety-spiked experience though, having to stand up in sacrament meeting in front of a three hundred strong congregation in order to get sustained! THEN I had to exervise my call of spiritual duty during the third hour of church.
Shook like a leaf in an anxious breeze but I did it...
I've been set apart. The priesthood blessing was astoundingly precious. Bishop prayed for my hands. I never told him that three of my fingers on left hand and one finger on my right hand are mildly arthritic and gout-bound from my drinking bouts. Humbling. God is good and great.

I'm with Sparkles atm, so I need to make a halt withy entry and turn my attention to her. Back here tomorrow.

P.S. There's four American diarists that I'd llove to have out to New Zealand...no money to invite them over with. One is on another journal
