climate change

I believed that climate change was when weird weather was happening in places that it shouldn't such as, snowing in the south, having 65 degree weather in January and that sort of thing. I don't think my opinion has changed, but I do think that I have better understanding of what climate change means. I believe that a lot of the climate change is do to pollution and man made issues. I do believe that there is a significant change in the climate. I have heard that ice sheets are melting at a faster rate in Antarctica and that the earth is some degrees hotter than it used to be. But can we know for sure if this is caused by man? I certainly believe that climate change can be a natural occurrence, there was an ice age. The earth is constantly changing, and do we really know that this is caused by man? There was no pollution to cause an ice age was there? At one time the earth was a tropical jungle, man wasn't around to effect this. Also if I recall right there were lots of volcanoes that once covered the earth an erupted often, we had nothing to do with that. I think that the topic of climate change is just that a topic for conversation. Can we really say it's the human population that is causing this? Yes, pollution has a negative effect on this planet, but I do believe some of the change is a natural process. We as a superior race have no control over the earth decides to do. Tomorrow could be gone in a blink of an eye because of a great flood or world wide earthquakes or even volcanic eruptions. No one person can say that we can control climate change. If tomorrow brings a new ice age, what are we to do? did we cause this are was it nature?
