I thought it was a squirrel

Dear A
I saw a chipmunk today it was so cute and we were both surprised!
I was walking down the stairs of the library heading to my next class.
The day before I had a blister (at the Achilles' tendon?) I call it the wrist of the foot) anyways I peeled the skin off of it So it kind of hurts when I walk. I am only wearing 1 grey low length sock (the type you would wear with flats I guess) because I only had enough time to put on 1 sock and this sock is constantly coming off so I constantly have to pull it back up so the back of my foot doesn't rub against the back of my shoe because then it hurts more when the wound and shoe rub.
ANYWAYS!
As I was walking I started feeling my sock slip off so I think " Damn it! Stupid fucking sock better pull it back up" but knowing how clumsy I am I just can't bend over or crouch down to pull my sock up! I have to lean against something to keep my balance right. So literally 3 steps in front of me there is this long black light pole so I start to take those 3 steps towards the pole and as I walk towards it I start figuring out where I should put my hand because I don't want to touch bird poop or squish a spider again (I learned my lesson) and as I am examining the pole I look up at it and then down then all of a sudden I saw something twitch at the very bottom of it so I move my head a little closer and realize it's a big bug eyed small brown stripped chipmunk looking up at me as If I had just caught him stuffing a big ole acorn in its mouth. The acorn looked way to big to fit in his mouth it was practically coming out or maybe I caught him stuffing it mid way and I disturbed him from putting it in all the way either way his paws were in front of his mouth and his bug eyes gave me a weird feeling. We both stopped what we were doing. I was in mid crouch position with my hand extended out trying to reach the pole. My first thought is "Aw! A squirrel!" Then I realized how close my face was to it and then I thought "oh no...rabies" keep in mind this chipmunk look liked it would have done anything for its acorn I slowly straightened myself out and took a few steps back and the chipmunk disappears into the bushes never to be seen again!
The End
